The following in an extract from the Cyclopedia of Fiji published in 1907 and concerns John Wishart from tree WIS0126.

MR. JOHN WISHART, Jun., was born at Geelong, Victoria, in 1863, went to South Australia two years later, and was educated at Prince Alfred College, Adelaide, and Scotch College, Melbourne. He entered the South Australian Government service in the Engineer in-Chief’s Department as cadet in 1881 ; but left in 1885 to enter the service of his father, and has assisted in carrying out some of the works already enumerated. He joined the present firm in 1858, and came to Fiji in 1901.
