My Rock ‘N’ Roll Daze is the sequel to ‘My Army Daze‘ from Andrew Wishart. It traces the rise and fall of a rock ‘n’ roll band started and led by Andy in Scotland during the late fifties thru the early sixties. These stories trace Andy’s life on the music scene in the U.K. Describing one night gigs as contemporaries of the early Beatles – thru to the eighties when he led the Shoos Bloos band as a pub licensee in England.
Memoirs and musings written in the same vein as Andy’s earlier humorous tales of Military Service.with a Scottish Infantry Regiment. The times they were a-changing back then. Andy describes daft days and wild nights in Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders area plus some sound advice to present day young musicians thinking of starting a rock ‘n’ roll band. It is all good, clean fun. Bring the kids!
Andrew was born in Penicuik, Scotland, and is part of Wishart Tree 35 which currently starts in mid-eighteenth century Fife.
