Wishart Family Crest
|
The Wishart Crest is taken from the Arms of William Thomas Wishart,
recorded on 22 February 1769. We have the written permission of Lord Lyon to use the Crest and supply it to family members. The Crest features an
eagle, wings expanded, with the family motto "Mercy is my Desire".You can wear a Wishart Crest as a badge or brooch, or mounted in a kilt
buckle or on a sporran - it makes a wonderfully original present for any Wishart relative, perfect for birthdays or Christmas, and is presented in a green tartan gift box.
The Wishart Crest measures 1.5 ins diameter (4 cms), and is cast in Rhodium-plated pewter. A pin is incorporated for fixing to clothing, scarf,
glengarry, etc. It is made for the Wishart Society in Scotland by Art Pewter, and is approved by the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs.
Examples of similar crests for other Scottish Clans can be seen in tartan retailers, and in many Scottish gift shops, worldwide. PRICE
