Our wedding photo (right) features Mark and Deanne Wishart, on the occasion of their wedding
at Inverleigh Presbyterian Church near Melbourne, Australia on 4th March 1996. They first met in 1993 when Deanne visited Scotland and they attended a New Year Ball at the Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh. Two years, and approximately 100,000 flying miles, later they were married near Deanne's home in northern Victoria.
Mark and Deanne are both descended from Fife Wisharts, Deanne's forebears having emigrated to Australia in the mid 19th century. Mark is wearing a kilt in Wishart Dress Tartan with the Wishart Crest on his belt and sporran. There are other pictures from their wedding

Scott Alexander Wishart (a professional photographer) married Helen Louise Rondell (a ceramic
artist) on 4th May 2003 in Tunbridge Wells, England. #Helen chose a Wishart Hunting Tartan.
wedding dress and had it made in her home town in Nottingham. This seemed very appropriate as her mother's family come from a long line of lace-makers (very much like the Wisharts of Fife). She also designed the Celtic
embroidery on the bodice.Their rings were made by an Orkney Island artist, and Scott presented Helen with a sash in Wishart Hunting tartan as a wedding gift, shown here You can visit Scott's website here |
