The 2015 Wishart Lunch is on Wednesday 18th November. We will meet at about 12 noon, departing at around 3 pm. If anyone is interested in combining lunch with family research at the Scottish Genealogy Society , please contact us and we can sign you in as guests if necessary.

The lunch should cost around £20 for three courses, as illustrated below. The price includes coffee but does not include drinks which are available as extras.

Classic prawn cocktail with brown bread

Stornoway black pudding with a free range poached egg & Béarnaise sauce

Water, cantaloupe and honeydew melon with Parma ham

Button mushrooms and chestnuts in a creamy garlic sauce on crisp bread(v)

Roast gigot of border lamb with a rosemary & garlic sauce

Braised Scotch beef steak in a red wine sauce

Ballotine of chicken with sun dried tomato & basil stuffing

Escallop of veal in a herb & lemon crumb

Angel haddock in a beer batter

Vegetable spaghetti passata

Warm waffles with pistachio ice cream and fruit compote

Sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch ice cream

Selection of Scottish cheeses with grapes & biscuits

We need to know if you wish to attend as we have booked a private dining room. Please let David Wishart know how many will be in your party, and where you will be coming from. Please also tell anyone you know who might be interested but who may not see this page.
